The colors were lively, opaque brown, red and white pigment in addition to a transparent white wash background. Though I'd noticed several pictures from the artwork, it was not until I noticed it in individual that I spotted the complete surface area in the rock experienced the whitewashed under-painting.  I could still see the drips from the wash
